Ordering indy?

Woohoo! Sold my bike and now have the funds to order my chassis kit. Off to visit the workshop next weekend.

Is there anything i should bear in mind when ordering my kit. I already know to specify rear discs and tell them i'm using the MT75 box so they make the trans tunnel slightly wider. Any thing else?

Once i've paid for my kit (in full, up front) what do you think the chances of taking one for a test ride (or taken out in one) are? Would make my day and boost the ol' motivation!

Doug.

From what I've heard about Martin Keenan, if there's evidence that you're not a time-waster/tyre-kicker then he'll gladly take you out for a blast. He may even let you drive!

He's a nice bloke, as long as you're not wasting his time (and as you're arriving with a wad of money... )

rgds,

David

I'll second that about powder coating Ta.

Made the tight arse mistake of deciding to paint it myself. It took far too long and isn't very good - arse!

When I went to MK to look at their old multicolour demonstrator as shown on the kit car mag adverts Martin let me take it out for a blast, which convinced me to order one. As David said if you have a fistfull of dough I'm sure he'll do his best to get you in a car, but it would be worth putting a request in before you go.

HTH

Cheers

Nick

Doug,

I spoke to them on Saturday about getting a test drive in the demo car, apparently the don't have it at the moment as it is off being raced somewhere.

Andy West has kindly offered to let me have a sit/ride in his which will be great. I would like to get up to the factory some time to see the place so I'd be interested to see what you think.

I was thinking that all being well I would order at the Stafford show but I may get impatient!!

Rich.
