Price doesn't seem too bad for the spec but I don't know how much it costs to build an MK to that spec yourself.

2.0i Zetec Engine
Exclusive Thurlby Sport Manifold
Thurlby Sport Map producing 140bhp
Exclusive Thurlby Sport Exhaust
Is that supposed to be good ? I would have thought nearer 200BHP, thats just a crate motor with an trick exhaust to clear the rails surely.
I would dig a little deeper on what you are buying with regards to reconditioned/improved parts before pricing up.
regards Mark

im not sure if car engine is what i want. my first MK was a BEC with Blackbird motor. wasnt a car i could use every day. thought the Zetec would be a
better bet. not many cars for sale at the minute. does anyone know of any for sale?

I tend to agree with Mark, would expect to see more power, seems like an out the box engine without anything special done to it? lots of em kicking
about the web just now quite cheap, were sniffing at some of them just now. Imho the money is in a good gearbox to handle the extra grunt when u
tweek, thats the first question I would ask, what box is clagged onto the engine, I suspect at that kinda price if thats the base model its nowt
exciting.

What power does a standard 2.0 zetec produce? I thought it was about 135bhp, so 140bhp really is not much benefit from all the gadgetry
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

Does the price include VAT? And to re-iterate Mark's point, what the quantity and condition of the used parts fitted? It does seem very cheap,
though.
