First Real Drive
As above..
took the car out for it's first real drive yesterday Wallasey to Leyland via M53/M56/M6 85 miles each way, great fun until I went over the
Thelwall Viaduct (had to get in the inside lane, car was all over the place.)
My ears are bleeding, my arse is sore but what the hell. The one issue I wasn't happy with and it killed my back was no support for my heels ( I
keep sliding down the seat even with the belts tight ) was thinking of putting a bar across chassis in front of the pedals for some support.... any
thoughts appreciated

Bloody 'ell! What time of day were you using Thelwall? I do it twice a day, ok at busy times, but I wouldn't fancy it in a 7! Especially
when some d*ck stops in the 2nd lane to try to squeeze in to the l/h lane/slip road for either the A57, M62 Liverpool or M62 Leeds exits and wagons
have no real option but to just pull out unannounced! It's bad enough in a solid tintop!

about 10.30, and yes several balloon heads coming across the front of me at the place mentioned, bad enough being between the artics without the extra
hassle,

haha, sounds like you had a great time, were you wearing a helmet or did you brave it and just use your sunny's? you just wait until a HGV pull
across you cuz he can't see you for toffee! (very scary)

I'm in Leasowe on Friday collecting my donor. While I'm down I could Tig weld you into the car, thus solving the sliding issue. Or cover
the seat with something sticky.
Out of curiosity, what seats do you have that are slippy?

Car is down on Birket Ave, Between Castleway and Reeds Lane. A 1.8 Sierra I found on Ebay. I've "Borrowed" a van and trailer from
work to collect it.

Good luck with the build, Neptune Car breakers is a good source for bits, but if you're into your bikes Les Jones sold his motor cycle bussiness
in duke street and bought the car breakers at the end of the block (the one with the food place on the corner.

I would rather use my heels to stop me sliding than my knackers! I had a 6 point in my Autograss car. After one bad shunt where I probably
would've been hurt quite badly, I found that I was hurt quite badly - just in a different area of my body!
