rivet size for floor
Guys
I see from the MK build manual that you are suposed to use 5mm rivets for the floor, but the rivet tools such as the lazy riviter etc only come with a
4.8mm attachment as the biggest it can take. Am I getting something wrong here or did you use smaller rivets than MK suggest?
thanks

3/8 rivets every 2" is fine, remember to use bonding agent as well

Hi
And make sure they are sealed rivets. Otherwise all the water / moisture will ingress to the inside of the chassis.

Thanks. If i use a 4.8mm tivet what size drill do I need to use to drill the hole, obviously if I was using a 5mm rivet I would probably use a 5mm
drill bit, but not sure if I am using a 4.8mm?
thanks

5mm drill is fine... they swell up to fill the hole size anyway.
