I'm so excited I could.......
Finally after months of if's, and's and maybe's my mate has finally sold me his part finished Indy!
It has sat unfinished for 2 years in his garage (long story told elsewhere on here). I was T'up North over the weekend and we finally agreed
terms.
I am so excited I could pop. Now all I have to do is get it back to Kent!?
some pic's here that I put up on my website. Please note These are not in the public area of the site so I haven't built any links to the
rest of my site (in case you where wondering):

At Least now I don't feel like a plastic kitcar wantabe.
Get ready to be asked lots of questions
For now....... YAHOOOOOOOOOOOO

There is a lot of trim to finish and given it hasn't moved for 2 years I'm expecting the worst and praying for the best!
Thanks for the offer of help. I may well be calling

Welcome to the madhouse! Youve finally joined the club.
It looks a good one... Wash it carefully (gently) with LOTS of warm soapy water. That dust will be well stuck on. Let the water soak in for a few mins
before rubbing off.
I have a black car, and it shows the dirt and scratches more than any other colour. But it looks the dogs danglys when polished up. Take care not to
scratch it too much. (I also use the black coloured polish, it helps)
Looks like there isnt too much to do. Wont be long before its on the road.
Get a copy of the IVA manual as there may be some bits to alter (it was built to SVA standard) before testing time.
Also can you put your rough location in your profile, it helps others if offering to come over to help / see / sell / buy etc.
Will it be on the road this summer?
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
Best Regards
Geoff

Duely noted and profile edited Wilkingj. With regards to being on the road by the summer, I hope so especially if the weather stays like this. but
this is my first build albeit not much left to do and I have no feel for the IVA and how prepared the car is?
I thought of doing the obvious and putting it in for a test to see what and if there is much to do. I do need to change the silencer as its well over
100dB apparently! I have downloaded the IVA manual and as soon as I get the car home I can make the to do list and set about it.
