zx9r carb balancing

hi,

i balanced my carbs on the mk last week and when i balanced them i noticed that on the carb sych needles i have, it was telling me late ignition timing and not showing normal.

Can this can changed to normal by rebalancing the carbs or do i have to do something else?

The car does not seem to have lost any power or gained anymore. It sounds alot better and ticks over steadily, could my carb synch set be broken?

TBH I never take any notice of the graduations on the gauges, as long as all the needles are showing the same vacuum they're balanced. I usually swap the pipes round for a check that the gauges still read the same.
