rear camber adjuster & hub carrier

Hi,

I'm assembling the rear suspension components and have found that the rear camber adjuster is very tight when attempting to guide it into position in the hub carrier. I've not tried forcing it and it seems to be the same for both sides of the car. Does the steel polybush liner need to be filed down to make it fit or is the hub carrier too narrow at the top?

I have tried to show this with the picture below

cheers,

Lee

Probably too late now, but if you measeure your crush tubes, you will probably find quite a varience in lenght.
I selected the best ones for the bracket in each case and then left with one or tywo to file, one or two to shim

it is interference fit up to a point, so dont file until its easy to get in. give it a few good smacks with a rubber hammer.

Hi

Get it to fit and then disconnect the adjuster from the wishbone or the whole wishbone from the chassis. And make sure it can rotate without to much force. You wouldn't want it to break due to being locked solid.

Cheers Matt

thanks for all the advice, I filed down the steel sleeve and it went together a treat. I've got one of the rear corners assembled as a result

cheers,

Lee
