Bleeding Brakes on Mk
hi guys
basically got the car finished but the brake pedal seems a bit soft
ive got a new sierra master cylinder and new sierra callipers on the back ive used the gudson self bleeding kit and taken the callipers off and turn
them upside down to get all the air out of them but still seems to be soft, the front piston in the master cyl seems to get the front brakes rock
hard
theres no leaks any where so was just looking for some tips

Screw out the pistons on the rear to set the self adjusters by hand.

If it goes part way down then firms up then I think the pedal should improve when the brakes are bedded in

I never manage to get a really good pedal using a self bleed kit. I'd recommend doing a final bleed properly with two people and pumping the
pedal manually.
