steering colum
just wondered what size bolts u guys used to fasten the steering colum to the chassis.and where have you placed the alloy clamp,central or towards the
bottom.i dont have my modded steering rack or link piece yet

It's a good idea to have steering rack in place... then you can make sure you have a clear route for the link. If you look at the sierra i
persume you got the column out of... you'll see the size you need which is much smaller than the hole size in the brackets. Cant remember
what size mine are, sorry

I used some m12s i think. Its not it the final position yet as i havent got the right sized steering wheel on. I think they should be enought to hold
it.

If its Sierra they are M8 and use the very thick washers from the donor.

I used m12's, and drilled out the sierra washers to fit. The holes in the MK are for 12mm bolts anyway.
