distance measurement please
Afternoon all
Just costing up materials to put some stripes on the front of the MK
Is anyone near their car at the moment able to provide a measurement from the vertical lip in the scuttle for fitting an aeroscreen to the front of
the curve of the nose cone where the moulding turns in for fitting mesh please.
The material I'm thinking of using comes on a roll 1220 wide and I'm wodering if thats long enough to produce a continuous stripe from
scuttle to nose.
Thanks in advance
Nigel

Can't you get SWMBO to measure it seeing as she is stuck in and seems to be (relatively ) technical?

I've got a Rough CAD Drawing and its around 1700mm from the back of the scuttle (dash area) to where the opening is on the nose cone.

Richard even though my wife shamed me this morning sorting out the lock on the Nova there is no way in hell I'd let her in the garage
unsupervised as anything could happen
If there was one item in the garage able to be knocked over, spilt or looked at wrong she'd find it.
Cheers for the answers

You're amongst friends here - you can tell us the real reason you don't want your missus in the garage.
Something like a stash of build receipts you don't want her to see, set of fancy wheels under a dust-sheet maybe or power-tools acquired on the
sly????
Cheers, Pewe

No chance of any of those things Pewe. My missus has a sixth sense for detecting cash being spent, especially on the car
