MK wiring loom
I am currently hooking up my Indy wiring and have learnt that I may need relays in my loom. The MK one doesn't seem to incorporate these, so do
I have to add them in myself? If so where do I need to add them?

The loom was bought direct from MK, the manufacturer on the diagrams is MES Ltd

Ah. not sure about that one, have experience of the premiere one only, I'm sure the loom you have is suited tho, Mk wouldn't sell it
otherwise, look on the documentation, it should have a 'help' number .
That or a phone call to Mk would sort it out I'm sure

Yeah I phoned MK and the company that made the loom today but both of the people I needed to talk to were out! Both should be back tomorrow so
hopefully I can sort it out then

Mine is the pinto version, it has those relays but I think I need to add some more in to stop the sierra switches melting. Did you have to put any in
yourself? My loom incorporates a flaher unit and a cooling fan relay IIRC, that's the lot

i was told that you need to add a cooling fan relay circuit to the vicki green loom...maybe this is what youve been told...what switches are you
thinking will melt?
unless i'm being daft or forgotten something...(very possible)....i dont think you need to add another relay to it....
hmmmmm....still wondering tho....

I've been told that you need to add relays in to the lights (main and dipped beam I think), so that the switches don't melt from the
current going through them. Steve Keenan is kindly sketching me a diagram showing what needs to be done, should have that in the next few days, so
I'll let you know what I find out and maybe post the sketch in my archive.
Cheers,
Pete
