Steering Column

I'm sure I found this last time I searched, but it must be hiding!

When extending the sierra column, do you do away with the second triangular clamp? I don't see a need for it.

Also, I'm assuming a 20mm ID tube with say a 3mm wall will suffice?

Is it seam welded? I wouldnt use seam welded, but check the IVA Manual for requirements.
