Fuel Tank

Just started looking at my fuel tank this evening and wanted to check something.

One end has the filler pipe and another connection which seems to need drilling through, is this a breather\valve connection?

Also I take it the connection the other end is the one to the fuel pump?

ta,
Rich.

Martin told me the blanked off one is to be used if you fit injection and need a return- although no doubt it has other uses aswell!

Shortie,

as James stated, either a return for fuel injected engine or drill through for a breather. One at t'other side IS for fuel pump.

Thanks guys I want to fit a breather so I'll probably drill through and fit a breather valve.

Why not drill through the breather with a small (3mm) drill and just attach a length of hose to vent the tank.
