Rolling Road Results

Well to follow on from my Winter Upgrade thread I had my Rolling Road session at Emerald with Dave Walker yesterday. The guy is good.

Here are my results:

Master at Work

175bhp and 157lb/ft of torque. Very pleased with the outcome given the engine only has 800 miles on it.

The interesting bit was after we had finished the final run on my setup (20mm trumpets) Dave Walker wanted to experiment on a theory. We fitted variable length trumpets and then did a number of runs with various trumet lengths. The out come was that at 75mm I lost 6bhp but gained 10lb/ft of torque. (167lb/ft).

Overall the change in the car is amazing, Smoother, quicker, more fuel economic, in fact every facit is improved.

Here is a little YouTube vid of one of the power runs.

cheers..... Neil

Dave did the broter in laws 2 litre zetec, big cams bike carbs as TB's lightend and balanced pushing 199bhp out it was expensive to get the extra 25bhp. Well done on the result
