Les is a regular competitor in the GT1 - trouble is he has obviously had a lot of problems getting it working right as (possibly) the majority of his runs this year have either resulted in a breakdown or a very slow time.

Glad you had a good day out - I was there on Saturday (marshaling) and it was a good day once the downpours had stopped.

If enough people are interested in a group trip I may be able to organise a reduced entry price and dedicated parking area at future events - anyone up for it?

Lo and behold - look at the size of the wheels on all the se7ens - not a 15" or 17" wheel in sight.
13" wheels to a man - just like all the caterhams which were flying past us in the elise t'other night at Knockhill.
13" wheels - it's the future.
(just like garlic bread)

I was looking for you as well.
The reason you missed me was because ye olde locoste wasn't there. My new very best friend in the whole world invited me to knockhill in his elise. The S reg one that spun twice.
what car was yours - they all looked like caterhams to me apart from the red westy.
Please take that as a compliment.
I'm guessing green with clamshells and yellow nose ?

Andy,

I'd be up for a trip to Harewood. Had it in the diary for last year but forget why we didn't make it.

You could put a post up here or in the Events section a couple of weeks prior.

Sure you'd get loads of takers.

I will check out the possibility of a cheap entry price etc - probably not for the next one as I am away for it and the two weeks leading up to it, but should be able to sort something for the event at the end of August or the September one.

I will post something in the events section at an appropriate time.

Just so it is all above board - I am on the marketing committee for the hillclimb, primarily responsible for the website and getting sponsors plus ideas for getting more punters through the gate. It is an unpaid role - I didn't even get a discount on the advert I have in the programme!
