Indy windscreen
Anyone ever tried a VW Beetle flat screen up against an Indy scuttle?
I want a windscreen for mine and saw this

Thoughts?
Cheers

Sorry guys, but the beetle's windscreen (an early flat type) is over a metre wide. Just about the same width as the bottom of the MK scuttle is
at its widest point. Toughened glass too, so un cuttable.....
Ayone made their own screen for an indy? I know there are people out there with the lolocost screen, but do they still make them?

tom, I think that is the aeroscreen you have seen - I have asked MK about this and I was told that it was impossible for MK to find anyone to make
windscreens for them.
As Mango says:
Some where some how mmmmmm
sebastiaan: are you saying that the beetle screen is big enough if it was laminated and could be cut down?
Cheers Mark

Its an early westie one the pre litigation model, the caterham screen is a good fit too but dont get a wide bodied one as its nowhere near

Hi Tom,
You are spot on with your observation - I stand (or sit!) corrected.
However it was only a couple of weeks ago that I was told by MK that they couldn't do it so perhaps Snoopy could shed some light on this?
Cheers
