Build costs Bike v's Car engine
Probably the most important factor when deciding which car to build is the build cost. Perhaps we can have a list of what people have spent upto SVA
pass then people can decide if they can indeed afford the bike option.
I'll start
Car: Indy
Engine: 2 Litre Pinto
Cost: about £4.500
If there is a similar post please let us know so we can add to that.

I'm still building my pinto powered indy but estimate the final build cost to be approx £5500. By the time i'd rebuilt the engine &
tuned it(cam, lightened, ported, carbs etc) it cost me as much as maybe a blade engine.
I decided on the car engine for the drive, low revs etc.
A bloke at work built his blade indy for the same money I've estimated for mine.
