4 Pot Callipers and balance bar
Has anyone fitted 4 pots on an MK indy
If so :-
1. Which ones and how did u get them to fit.
2. Did u use a balance bar and twin master cyclinders, and what size master cyclinders are best. Will be using standard rear callipers to get
handbrake.

Hello tony
I've got regular calipers on the back, all i've used is a fiat uno bias valve set up in one of steve(merlin's) holders he makes.
A lot of builders seem to go with the willwood 4 pots, best prices i'm told are at rally design web site is http://www.raldes.co.uk

thanks bob
looked at the willwood calipers and they seamed to be the best on price, look very smart two.
Has any one ever tried fitting them to the serria front upright used on the MK.
Was thinking of using the dynalite 4 pots perhaps the billet ones very sexy.
Hoping to use a standard size disc if pos dont think we need to use anything bigger to make this light weight rocket stop.

Not seen willwoods on sierra indy's,but hicost/locodude/jon ison are using them on cortina/capri uprights.
Maybe best to ask them how they perform, willwood must do a sierra fit as i've seen loads on sad sierra cossie copies.
Keep us posted

you should be able to get 4 pots to bolt straight to the sierra uprights..I am using AP magnesium 4 pots on cortina uprights so i will have to
fabricate a brkt to bolt to

Looking at the mounting diagrams none will bolt straight on to the serria uprights, need some sort of bracket.
I thought that the cortina used M16 calipers so a straight replacement no brackets needed, but could be wrong.

The only ones that are a direct replacement for the M16's are the Bremsports. If you want vented discs than you can either use wilwood/bremsport
discs with their bells or go 2.8i Capri but the calipers will need spacing 6mm (easy). Obviously none of this is Indy related so I'll shut up!

you can get 4 pots off the shelf for the cossie, aren't the sierra front uprights all the same (asuming they are 2wd)
