Oil pressure sensor

I have a very slight leak where my oil pressure sensor goes into the y-piece, if I want to unscrew it and put some PTFE in then will it be ok or will it spew oil all over the place, if it's just going to seep out then that's ok.

ta,
Rich.

Dont put more than a wrap or two maximum of PTFE on,or the fine threads will strip or knacker up.
Even better use liquid ptfe if you have it.
Dont overtighten, probably telling you how to suck eggs, so tell me to nutsack if know already.
