Getting it registered 'New'
Not being physically capable of putting the car together myself (due to m/c injuries , I am thinking of getting MK to do it for me. All the parts
will be new or recon'd as new except the engine - anyone know where i can get an "as new" engine to get the car registered with a 'new' plate?

To get it registered as a new car only one component can be a 'reconditioned as new', all the rest will have to be actually new. This is a very
complicated area, because 'suspension front and rear' can count as one component. A new engine will need to meet modern emission standards, so will
require fuel injection and catalyst. The way of beating this requirement is to get a new engine built up on an old block. This is how the cobra boys
are able to get carbed engines through the SVA. Complex stuff, and hopefully others will have something to add

You cant see the 'Q' from the driving seat!
Those who know what a kit-car is all about dont qive a **** if it has a 'Q' on mate.
Dont just build it.....make it!

So you'll be striving to achieve what everyone else seems to be avoiding then ?
