Blag!
As this post seems to have loads of Yorkshire based (or near enough) locost owners/builders - anyone with a bike engined MK or similar want to show me
what they are really like whilst i wait for mine to be built? (you can find out why i'm not building it myself by looking elsewhere on this board)

Blade Bounders
Being the king of Yorkshire I can tell you that some of my subjects do have blade powered cars, Jim has two Indies, I believe(no I don't know why
either) Jon Ison lives in the far off kingdom of Derby(baa)shire but he comes to the Yorks meetings, with the Isonblade (Locost) but I suggest you
talk to Steve Faunch who comes in his blade beauty (de-deon MK) even if it's snowing!
He's mad BTW
Next meeting this wednesday 7.30 The Beverleys Arms, on the roundabout at the junction of the A628/A638 Ackworth near Pontefract.
Cheers
Chris
Ps you can U2U any of them on here under their real names, although Jim is just "Jim"!

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

mdc, mate for god's sake look at Jons car by all means, but DON'T get in it!!
He'll give you that smile and a"come on we'll go for a little ride" and before you know where you are, the worlds a blur and you've got "Liam
hair"
He keeps his brain in a jar - at home.
Cheers
Chris

Yeah, I have got Two Mk Blades. The simple reason my dad had an old kit and wanted to upgrade a bit and when at Mk's I ended up having a go in his
old blade demonstrator and was instantly hooked.
You would be welcome for a go in mine, not as fast as Jon's as it is a standard engine. But hey it still fun

EEEEEEEEEEEKKKKK!
Thanks for the warnings. (i already have liam hair (i think) )
I'm hoping to go to MK either this or next weekend, so anyone want to meet me around there (snow permitting) can watch me hand over my pennies.
I'd love to build one but with the use of only one arm and a short fuse it wouldn't be a fair fight
If anyone has one to sell (imminently) email me (see profile)

Thanks for all the offers - Met up with Jon and the Isonblade, and with locodude too.
I'm sure I'll meet a few more of you when I have my car.
The race is on Chris (PTM): who will win? You or the NHS?
