Insurance companies
I'm not sure if we have done this before but how about a list of decent insurance companies and quotes you have been given, also ones to avoid.
Anyone been quoted for an indy turbo?
Cheers

Got a quote from sureterm.co.uk for 3000 miles fully comp and green card for £159.
Footman james quoted £285 and also sent me someone elses insurance policy with all there bank details on,so i have faith in them NOT.
These quotes where for 2litre pinto indy and me being a young 41 year old.

There is a thread about this in one of the other sections, but to summarise, I shouldn't worry too much about insurance, even at 18. You've done the
right thing going for a 1600, any bigger and they start getting edgy, but 1600 means 1600 at any state of tune, so bike engines are fine too (350bhp
1300 Holeshot Racing Hayabusa engine? hehehe). You probably won't be able to get fully comp and the rather more than standard mileage may raise the
price. One other thing that may change it is whether it's a second car, although I can't see why.
As an example, I was quoted somewhere between £300 and £500 for upto 1600, any state of tune, 3000 miles p.a., third party, and as a second car, at
age 19. I was told it was unlikely that I could get fully comp until I was 21.

milage down on the Locost!!! I think il take my pass plus as that should give me 1yr NCB but first things first i gotta pass my bleedin drivin test
first hehe failed 3 times already grrr
