just thought id say hello , just bought an MK Indy in Florida and shipped it out to California, the toy for my 50th, compared with eveything else out
there the price was right , i wanted the 900 cycle engine in it and an IRS rear end.and i didnt want it to be 30 years old, shift linkage sucks, maybe
ill convert to a cable or paddle shifter? Its alot of fun so far... anything i should be aware of?

Hi Bob... welcome to the forum. You lucky you caught me awake...
There are a few things to watch out for on BEC (bike engined cars) Oil Level is critical - don't let it run low.
You don't say what engine you have in there... let us know, apart from that. Usual pre-drive checks: suspension arms, general tugging on
everything to make sure it isn't loose.
See you around on the forum - any questions just ask!
Have fun!
