Newbie
Hi just thought I would add a post in here, just registered on this site looking for any advice on the MK Indy, I have been looking around and from
what I can gather the MK seems to be a very competitive car - performance/cost wise.
I am travelling up to the MK hq tomorrow to see whats available etc, I will be going for the turn key option with either an R1 or Fireblade engine,
any advice on which is the better engine?
Are the cars generally reliable... I don't mind getting hands on with maintenance but building a whole car will be too much for me!
Any advice would be much appreciated

Not a great deal in it to be honest. Both are cracking engines although the R1 statistically has the edge over the blade. Either engine will not
disappoint
What time are you gonna be at MK? Theres usually a small group of us there on a Saturday morning and I'm sure you'd get to ride in a few

I have been promised a ride in a couple, so I am hoping the weather will be good, its fairly good here at the moment but that is 150 miles away!

hope you have not added too much weight to it chris, you no for every kg you add to it thats a kg you have got to lose,to keep that power to weight
ratio calculation correct,I think you will be down to 5 stone before you finish it

Hi, just like to thank everyone who I spoke to on Saturday for all the advice etc, And especially to those who took me out! Think I have pretty much
got a spec sorted so will speak to MK soon to see how much its gonna cost! Then probably cut it down to suit my budget!

Just thought I would drop on here to say I have bought a new car - a Porsche 968 Sport - I do beleive though that one day I will have to have an MK
with a Motorbike engine!
