Non plastic tank!

(Sorry Chris) but I have got my heart set on an aluminium tank for the Indy.
Does anyone know if Stuart Taylor's tank will fit an Indy?
The other problem is that it's for an injection set up for my fake BDA copy engine,(toyota 4age).
I could adapt a non injection tank if I have to.
Anyone know of any other alternatives for alloy tanks?
It's the last thing that I need to buy apart from the guages so I could do with sorting it soon!
Dean..........

I probably will in the end,but at the price of pure argon and alloy wire to weld it with my mig it will cost more than buying one.
I've got some nice 3mm alloy new sheet knocking about.Plenty of my mates have tig sets but only for welding steel.
Anyone fancy hiring me a tig set to weld aluminium?
The other factor is that I'm currently working 60+ hours a week running the workshops where I work!

Buy a plastic one, you could always put a sheet of ali across the bottom so that anybody you run over would go"wow, an Aluminium tank !" otherwise who's gonna see it!

Cheers

Chris

You've cut me to the quick. A shame really as now all the indy tanks come ready for either carbs or fuel injection. At NO extra cost too! Oh well each to his own eh?

What complete with swirl chamber too?

I might be convinced, tell me more!
All your tanks that I have seen were all for carbs, can you do me a special boss for an internal pump fitting as well please mister?Grovel ,Grovel .Bestest mate ever!
If you can do that, all the inlet and outlet pipes pass through the unit and not the tank.
Yours kissarsingly Dean........

ST Alloy Tank

The stuart taylor alloy tank fits a treat into my Indy ( about £97 when I purchased mine). I used the bottom flanges to mount it to start with but used straps for additional support.
