Hi there and welcome to the daftest place on the interweb!
There are a few people from your area, one of which is skidmark on this forum and he's from Attleborough.
I don't know the answer to your cable question but alot of people use bicycle brake cables!

Welcome, I would imagine that the linkage from the 3.0 Capri would do the trick - that's where the carb came from after all.

Hi. Tricky.
Welcome to this group.
I'm Piddy from Thetford. Not building an Mk but a Luego velocity on a similair theme.
Youll find that the Dgas uses a Cortina or Capri linkage and cable.
Are you sure it will fit on a Sierra manifold?
If it doe's then it must be from an early one which is the same as a Cortina/Capri.

I don't think it does, if I remember we had to oval the holes to fit one on a friend's car. I think there is a Cortina to Pinto manifold
that fits it but they are scarce.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

As I said earlier the very first Sierras had the same inlet manifold as the Cortina/Capri.
Cortina/Capri manifolds can be found on E bay, ever now and then.
