Nice neat job. Is there any reason why you constructed an airbox? And a reason why it is sucking from outside car. I am just putting together GSXR 600
carbs and manifold and looking for best way to do things. Any advice would be good.
Thanks Nige
Sorry 4 the Hijack.

As always a very neat job Graham
I am just a teeny bit concerned that the airbox will restrict the airflow in to the carbs a bit.
Why not put a third sock in between the two others - I am sure there is room and it will cause a fair bit of head scratching when people see three
socks sticking out of the bonnet!
Cheers

Cold air is better for power - it is denser than hot air and so you get more in the cylinder so you get more power.
