im not buying into the tampax theory.

What's this then? I tried them and nearly drowned, lying adverts, they didn't improve my running either. These kits are all like comparing Vesta chow mein to the real thing, alright for people in a hurry.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

for your information this c*nt here hadn't even heard of MK when i bought my kit, someone bought it then changed thier mind then i bought it off them and always had help from mk and mainly snoopy on here.

seriously if your opinion of MK owners is that low then why not just keep out of this section?

if you've got nowt nice to say and all that?

I wouldnt be suprised if the person who asked it never comes on the forum again

A smite touchy today are we ?
call it touchy if you want, i personally just find your attitude and way of getting opinions across to be offensive.

quote:
when answered about one thing you just conviently ingnore it and move on to another, thats griping your ass
haven't got a clue what you're on about so can't respond.

quote:
And if you are so high and mighty as to think that "your section" should only be open to your type as you say, says volumes. It would appear that it ok for many to enter other section and voice their opinion so whats ok for peter is ok for paul and all that.
that just makes me laugh out loud, my point was you're in the MK section so without a doubt ppl in here are going to be in favour of MK products. i'm about as far from high and mighty as i could get.

quote:
And while we are at it who was actually calling you anything ? hmm. Not me when explaining the tampax thoery (to peteff I might add, NOT you), I was talking about small round cotton things, if you again mis-construde it then thats your problem.

you used the "tampax theory" to apparently describe the attitude of ppl who buy MK kits if you want to generalise like that it's your choice but you can't then play like you've said nothing when someone responds. oh and if your explination was aimed only for peteff to read then i recomend using the u2u option and not a PUBLIC forum where everyone can read.

Chaps, shall we call it a day with the arguing

Opinions are subjective things: there is no true right and wrong.

Additionally, when someone speaks to you, their approach to the subject matter is conveyed in the following ways:

approx 90% is given away in body language.

7% is given away by tone of voice

3% is conveyed by the actual words.

By conversing through an internet forum, we are losing 97% of the intended meaning of the persons comments, as we cannot see or hear them.

This almost certainly exacerbated the bad start that some people got off to with Graememk aswell.

Lets just stop and breathe before typing.

P.S. By the way, I will certainly be posting again, as this board is a goldmine!

Where's John Cleese and the Python crew? They must be here somewhere.

Do you want the full argument, or just the 5 minutes?

Going back in the thread a bit, should I have got badges with my MK Delixe kit?

I didn't get lock nuts for the front top ball joints, but these should be on their way soon.

Badge?
what like a blue peter badge for building an Indy?

Ya know I didn't get one of those in my deluxe kit either!

On a serious note, I built an Ultima a few years ago and I have to say that I have been hugelly impressed with the Indy kit.
I'm sure others are good but the quality and value of the Indy is awsome IMO.
