Indy dash sizes?

Hi i am looking at getting some carbon fibre sheet to re style my dash, i want to draw it up in cad and have a play with different layouts. has anyone got a drawing or know of the main sizes of the original dash?? Also who sells carbon fibre dash kits? i think someone here does. i really want one with the drop down middle bit so i can mount more gauges.

Thanks guys.

Triton on here does GRP and Carbon Fibre dash blanks which will fit the Indy. I'm sure he offers both flat bottomed versions and ones that extend down to the tunnel. Have a look in his photo archive.

Also Mac#1 - looks nice too although it will need a support stay on the bottom to keep stable.

aha! mr C.

I lost my temper with the gear indicator, i moved the proxi to the rear driveshaft to see if it would pick that up better. it programmed in seconds, but then wouldnt work so i am now going to run the proxi cables in shielded cable thinking its an intermitant fault or interfearance, however i was putting it back to the original place so i could do it at a later date and now the speedo wont work! the proxi doesnt seem to be getting any power.

So i lost it and am now rewiring the bits i dont like the look of. lol i might change the dash round too, i want the ignition on the centre tunnel and to add a clock and refit the volt meter.

its all go at the moment........except the car.

good news is i am learning how the wiring works for future problem solving/modding.

Are you taking the car to Stoneleigh?

For god's sake don't get a personalised number plate - I'll never recognise it if you do!

possibly, im going anyway (in the range rover) if i havent got it back together by then, i am also trying to make a boot at the same time, i get a bad back bending over the dash so i do one for a bit then have a break doing the other.

i really hate personalised plates, right waste of money IMHO. the one on it at the moment is easy to remember too.

The weather is nice here and even if the car was working i cant get it out of the garage due to it being block paved.
