Biggest Wheels on an indy
Will 15" wheels with 205/50/R15 tyres fit on an indy without cutting the arches or anything.
I know the tiger cat couldnt really fit anything above 14s without the super cat kit.
What are the biggest wheels that would comfortably fit under the arches without cutting or using elastic bands as tyres.
Thanks
Chris

15" definately fits. the rim width/offset is more crucial.
205 should fit, though check the rim width with mk. 6" fits, don't know about 7" (wheel width before anyone comments)
I have heard that 195 is the widest warranted tyre, though have no first hand experience to comment either way.
Ned.
beware, I've got yellow skin

you shouldn't realy put a 205 on a 6" rim, better suited to a 7"

MK recommend 195/50. Martin said that anything wider or lower profile can be cause problems with tracking or too coarse a ride as the car is light. I
would go for sticky compound rather than large tyres. If you are going for looks then that is a different issue.
