Brake Flexi's to Copper Pipe Brakets

While out today i picked up some 1.5mm `L` shaped Ali bar to make the brakets for union where the brake flexi's join the copper pipe.

In the shop it looked fine but once i got it home im a little worried if it will be strong enough as a long term fixing or am i just being paranoid. (Dimensions are 25 x 25 x 1.5 mm)

So any thoughts on if this will be strong enough or if i need to think again would be very much apreciated.

I'm no techie but I'd be concerned about ali. stress fracturing after repeated flexing. Most of the brackets of this type I've come across are steel. Cheers, Pewe

Trouble is that if they do fracture you'll kick yourself when you have to re-do them and by the sounds of it you'll always have that nagging doubt they'll go. Cheers, Pewe PS see U2U.

Yer i have enough nagging doubts about the rest of the build without adding to it

So i think that I will attempt to take it back and then try and track some 2mm steel 'L' bar down.... if that broke id eat my hat if i wore one.

Cheers for the input pewe
