Radiator spacing

Can anybody give me a rough dimension of how far the radiator (Polo) should be away from the chassis to accept a pull fan at a later date..?

Also is it best to follow the chassis angle or be straight up and down

Thanks in advance

Kinda depends which fan.... if you look at my recent post here dimension 'H' is what you want:

it has thickness dimensions for Pacet.

According to PPC magazine the most efficient angle at which to have a dual core rad is 20°.

Hope that helps,
James

why do you want a pull fan? push fans are better.

the motor and cowl vary quote a bit between designs; best to find the fan first as sod's law will mean whatever you can pick up cheap will not fit.
