Rear disc brake drive shaft problem

As you can see my build is coming on O.K. after 3 weeks of work by me and my good old Dad.

I have had a problem with the rear driveshafts outer splined hud fouling and jamming on the hud carrier on the large diameter through the centre.

The solution was to file out the step in the bore to meet the welded on fange with the tapped holes.

This was not difficult but is worth checking out before painting the shafts and associated parts.

Had the same problem with both of mine, I 'ground' the lip out. Don't forget to touch up the bare metal.
