Rear Disc Uprights (and Hubs)

Has anyone got a picture of rear disc uprights from MK, as i think they have given me the wrong ones, they said there should be a cutout on one side, which i cant see. If anyone could give some advise i would be grateful.

Also how do i get the rear hubs off the sierra, do i have to undo the central nut in middle of the hub, and if so whats the best way of keeping the hub still while i unbolt it?

Thanks

Chris

wish you had sent this yester day..i fitted my second hub onto the upright last night..so you wont really be able to see it..the plate on the upright with the threaded bolt holes will be positioned at an angle...(if its a drum rear they are straight)..i didnt notice a cut out on mine...
pics if you need them tho...but i dont think they would help much..

yes the hub nut needs to come off..get this biggest vice you can find to hold the shaft....remember to look atv the thread direction...one side is a reverse thread

have fun....

Best way to undo the nut is while the car is on its wheels with a bloody great bar. The socket is a special unless you have 3/4 drive and the torque setting for it is 185 to 214 lbs ft. Nearside is left hand thread if I remember correctly.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
