Side panel edge
Is the outer edge on the MK side panel SVA ok or not? Also the inside edge can that have a little bead of silicone on it to keep MR SVA happy?

I had to round mine off with a file to get through SVA - Mine was several years ago though and I don't know if the mould has changed since
then.
I think if memory serves me correctly it needs too be 3mm radius
Cheers

2.5mm radius for contactable edges like those. Anything standing proud from a panel like a bolt head, instrument bezel, or an overlap join needs to be
'blunted' if it is proud by less than 3.2mm If it sticks out 3.2mm or more its 2.5mm radius. Both the edges of the side rail are testable
for 2.5 radius

the outer edge is ok, mine passed at Norwich like that. for the inside i used the MK aluminium trim set which is aluminium angle with a round edge.
this was countersunk and screwed to the top rail.
