frot cycle wings (pic added)

after reading on here that the cycle wings should cover the tyre
just been outside and stood over mine looking down the front lip of my cycle wing is just in front of the rim will i need to change this for sva??

Nah, thats ok it's the rim it must be in front of, make sure the side walls aren't wvsible from above though.

This seems to be a 50/50 opinion with the sidewalls. Some people say that the sidewalls are allowed to be seen from above, its the rims that aren't allowed to stick out further.

Mine passed sva with sidewalls on view but tread covered in 2003 unless it has changed since

Mine passed with sidewalls showing.
As far as I am aware, it is the tread and wheel rim that need to be covered.
