That's the corner I came off at too! But I ended up on the inside.

I was fine all day, then I went out for a couple of laps with one of their instructors. He carried a lot more speed in than I was, and braked later.

So I kept on pushing that one corner, later and later, until the inevitable happened.

I suppose that is the luxury of Bruntingthorpe though, loads of run off!

Mike

I came off there last year , when the track was "damp" ended up on the inside though and broke the starter
I find it quite difficult to get that corner right, dont know wether it's because its so wide?

Only came off once yesterday (well you have to don't you) got a bit out of shape going through the proper chicane/esses and ended up in the grass, but no damage this time

That was just after you passed me... About 4 laps later you passed me again! My excuse is lack of ability and being 2 up!

Yes Steve new chassis,we were both on slicks, just a case of too fast, his line into corner was good Dannys a good brave driver,I was hitting over 120mph into that right hander, just gear down 6th to 4th to 75mph then back into 5th just after apex, exiting around 85mph,did not look it but the most tricky corner on the circuit because of the high speed aproach, lots of people spun off there, nice feeling the odd time I got it right though.

As I said, makes me feel a bit better about the difficulty of that corner, though I could only just hit 100 before braking from flat out past the plane.
Put it into 4th I guess down to about 80? but I am only on T1's
Was a good day, made all the better by the weather
