Wheel offset

I've just managed to aquire a nice set of wheels for my Indy, however they ar 15x 6J with an offset of 52.5mm which is almost 15mm beyond the recommended one from MK. Has anyone any experience of some thing like this. Will they still be okay or am I still looking for my wheels?

my 15" wheels with the correct offset JUST fit with in the wings. if you have an offset which pushes the wheels further out you may have problems.

that offset would put them 15mm more inside the arch.

Graememk's car runs 16" 6j rims with a 46mm offset

The best offset for a Indy in my opinion is a 7" rim with a 35 offset, they fill the arches just right,if you fit a 6" wide rim and a 52 offset, the wheel will be set further in the arch by 30mm,and 4mm closer to the upright on the inside, this will not be a problem they will fit,but give the rear of the car a narrow look, better to keep looking I think
