My Indy is nearly on the road

Took the car to the DVLA today for its inspection following my SVA pass. The lady at Manchester (Jean) was brilliant and had a real passion for kit cars.

She did pass some nice comments about my car. The inspection took 1 minute but chatted for about 15mins about cars!!!!

Hopefully should get the registration doc and the tax disc next week.

Cant wait for its first proper blast

Paul

So it was your fault that I couldn't get through to Jean on the phone this morning!

I dropped my MAC and payment in this afternoon at Manchester...and she was still out "chatting" to you! So I couldn't get my No and tax disc sorted!

We should both be on the road soon.

She phoned me at 5pm to say the same about mine and to check 1st June was ok for the tax to start. Trouble is it means I can't drive it on Saturday. She also agreed to fax a copy of the Number plate certificate so I can get the plates made tommorrow at work (I'm registered for that). She has been very helpfull and fast getting it done.
