Rear brake pipe/wheel cylinders?
Morning All,
I have been working on fitting the brakes to my Indy over the xmas break and now need some help!
Are the wheel cylinders handed?
i.e. should the bleed nipples be towards the front or rear of the car?
Also, is there any difference between the 2 union points on the wheel cylinder?
i.e. can you swap the bleed nipple and brake pipe around if necessary?
Also does anyone have any advice and/or photos on routing the pipes and flexis on/around the rear uprights and wishbones.
Any advice much appreciated!
Cheers
Nick

Hi Nick,
if these are Sierra rear drumbrakes then the bleedscrew and brake pipe connection are interchangeable. They were made this way to simplify things at
the brake manufacturers factory.
Whether the bleedscrew is at the front or rear of the brake/car doesn't really matter.
I've got no advice about pipe routes on independant rear suspension as mine is a live axle.

I suspested that might be the case, but wanted to check - brakes = over cautious.
Anyone help on the routing?
Cheers
