How to bend & mount Ali sill protectors (on an Indy if that makes any difference)

Just trying to work out the best way to bend/form/mount my ali sill and tunnel protectors on my Indy.

Have people done the sills as one single piece and if so does that require a notch cutting in the piece closest to the rear wings as it goes up and over?

One notch [on the inside return] at the end of the sill and then bend by hand over the quadrant. 3 x 4.3 big head rivets will hold it in place.

A little persuasion at the top with a rubber mallet.

I was looking for pics of yours, Mr. Bailey, but couldn't find any.

OT: Your car looks fantastic! I loved line in there though: "the wiring is taking longer than expected". I'm still finishing my wiring and it's been going since January. Can't get the fog light to work now, after wrapping everything in convoluted tubing and zip tying it together - naturally.

No notch in mine, just gave it some heat and all was OK.

Cheers
