final drive

Have fitted a yam lump to my indy r the adaptor to concert drive from sprocket to prop is deeper than the sprocket which does not give enough space for the tab washer any one else had this problem , is locktight good enough. ?????

I had exactly the same problem and the manufacturer offerd to shave a mm or 2 off the adaptor, but they also insisted locktite would be good enough for the job.
