And that was with a strong headwind in a car made from earwax and stale chips......

Hi Paul
It was DRC Indy's motor
‎1/4 mlie 12.9839 0-60 4.4secs RT 0.320 107.40 MPH wheel spin in the first 2 gears with toyo 888
Dropped the rear pressures to 12 lb befor that he was in the high 13's he has a SR20DET from a 1999 nissan 200sx touring fitted pics in his
archive
Both Indy's that ran on the day had problems with traction

Thought it might be that one, a bit more practice I think is required, he should be running in the low 12's with that motor, I know the 200sx
engined Indy on the MK drag day was running 12.1's on R888's and was the fastest car engined MK on the day

that was Chris S2000 engine wasnt it . Tyre pressures where too high really to much spin was a miserable day too so may have been a little damp too

No Andy, Chris's S2000 was the 2nd fastest on the Day, he did run a 12.138, but the 200SX car ran a 12.123 just beating him to 1st place, it was
a hot day though so the tyres not nice and sticky, but then the turbo's don't like the heat either.

I've been to York Raceway twice and remember having to dodge the pot-holes up the strip. And avoid the toilets at all costs......

Good times. I reckon the rear tyre pressure could have gone a bit lower still though. IIRC we did York Raceway with about 8-10psi, to
improve traction......
