Anyone know this Indy?

Evening all,

Does anyone know of this MK Indy? mk indy honda fireblade | eBay

I've been looking at BECs for a while and found this while trawling ebay. Certainly it would be useful to know more about it's build and will contact the seller shortly, but meanwhile wondered if anybody here knew of it?

Additionally, it doesn't show up on the DVLA vehicle enquiry, what could the reasons for this be?

Thanks in advance for all your help.
Oli

Cheers, that's me out then... Not got the time to spend on that at the moment.

How did you find that out, by the way?

Askmid insurance check which gives accurate vehicle name, then typed ford dutton as the name on the dvla vehicle check.

you can get an idea with the reg plate, the plate would suggest the donor was MK1 or MK2 Escort on a sierra based car. I perdonally would consider the legitimate one thts on this forum with the 2 litre pinto for £3250 and fit a bike engine I recon yo would still have change from £5,000

Some poor unsuspecting is going to buy that, seems a good price but the fact it's never been checked over @ iva, makes it a pontentionally dangerous car, surly
He does not expect to sell it when the car is obviously wrong v5 wise! Or will he just gloss over it & hope no one notices?? It's deception IMO.

Just sent him this.....

"There is no mention about the v5/mot in your ad can you confirm that the car is correctly registered on the v5 as a MK indy? When did the car pass its iva?
Thanks"

Nice car and looks almost worth the money unregistered. Drive it on those plates and you would not be insured.
You could factor in the cost of an IVA but with having a false v5, it could be nicked, how would you check?
