You failed Phil.
You were supposed to ignore it. Bugger, now I've failed as well.
Edit:- Was there a prize?

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

In which case, what constitutes a pass or fail - it's important that I know how well we've done.
It's like doing your 'A' levels then never hearing again - on reflection that would have been a good thing

Perhaps that is why I failed.
I failed to spot the fact that there were two tests!!
Mind you if spotting the two tests was one of the tests, then what was the second one?

I ignored the second one, so I passed after all.

But you havn't ignored it - you have just mentioned it in the context of having passed it - You loose.
This is proving to be a dificult test - even more dificult then the one they make me do with the different shapes and the different holes.
In years to come psychologists will probably get huge research grants for their investigations into the 'Twin Test Paradox'. Rather than
doing as they do now and getting huge research grants for stating the bleedin' obvious! - so it must be a good thing.

Yes but consider if there is only one test and we ignore it or not then do we pass or fail. If there are two test and we ignore one of them we get or
must get a 50% mark regardless of passing or failing. Then at what point do you set the pass fail mark?. If the pass fail mark is fairly set at 50%
then we could neither be passed or failed?
On the premises of the above I have decided to ignore/not ignore (delete as applicable) so that I get a pass.
There that should do it.
Enjoy. 67 days and counting.

well, maybe that's three tests then, the first two, then if spotting there were two is another, hmm.
maybe if we "don't ignore" the test after 2 but then talk about the possibility of a 4th test we might get a merit?

Perhaps it wasn't a test at all - perhaps by noticing that I've won again - no that would make it a test and me wromg by default.

I think it is grossly unfair of ChrisS to pose such a dificult test in the first place and then not help us out.
Do you think that maybe even he doesn't know the answer(s)?
