Has your Indy been SVA'd yet? If not, you will have stricter emission regulations to comply with, compared to a pre August 1995 Fireblade
engine.
Just means you have additional cost for Cat etc.
Also, as its fuel injected, you may need a power commander or similar to alter the mapping.

rry fireblade
I have the rry fitted to my INDY,there's no major problems to fitting this engine, you will have to do away with the airbox and fit a foam type
filter, you will also then have to fit a power commander as hellfire says to ensure it then fuels correctly, this basically has the same effect as dyno
jetting a carbed blade engine. You will also need a custom made exhaust manifold,as the engine is completely different to the earlier engines,so the
standard blade manifold won't fit.
You will also need the clocks from the bike as these run the fault diagnostics codes for the engine, also ensure you have the original
"hiss" unit, the key and ecu,the engine will not run with out it.You will need to dry mount the "HVIX" unit so that the ecu
can still communicate with it.
There are advantages with the injected blade engine, more power, about 152 bhp,no choke, ease of passing sva emmision test over later carbed blade.
If you need anymore help please let me know. Cheers Paul.

rry power commanders
The fitting of the power commander takes about ten minutes they plug directly into the loom with a simple link coupling, they then need to be set up on
a rolling road for best results.Keep an eye on e bay you can sometimes see them on there cheap.
Martin at MK engineering has just done a rry manifold for someone,if you want a quality job he's your man about £300 to £400 for a full system
in top grade stainless.
