MK Interior trim

Does anyone know if the plastic interior trim included with the deluxe kit includes interior side panels - I phoned MK and they said it didn't, but they didn't seem too sure. The pieces I got in my kit are the rear panel and four pieces for the transmission tunnel.

Thanks

Stu

If you mean the side pannels that attach inside the car on the drivers right and passengers left then yes you should have some in the delux kit, well i did!

Mine also, but i used them all as templates to cut aluminium panels. and then covered the plastic with vinyl trim which is easy to remove.

In mine i got 5 ali panels, one for the rear bulkhead behind the driver, then ones for the left and right of the driver and passenger. Didnt get a tunel top though.

I didnt get any plastic interior trim, but i did get my kit 2 years ago.

I have clarified this with Phil at MK. He says that the side panels are no longer included. They recommend trimming the sides with carpet as a neater solution.

Knock up your own, you can get what you want and it doesn't cost much. Making my trim infill panels (for trimming side panel insides) was far easier than getting the single piece ones to fit I had first time round!
