Ive got a number plate and almost free tax

wwwaaaa haaaaayy I went to the dvla at 10

this robot argues that they dont register over the counter anymore then reads his handbook and tells me I need another DVLA inspection I say Ive already have one

they cant understand in there thick little brains How Ive already had one already

totally helpless

then I went and filled in forms sweet talked this woman and explained how theres a car show I need to go to

my insurance cert which came this morning had a miss print but she was still happy with this note to DVLA employ people like this more who have common sense and brains

she went off and said she'd get it done for me

walla one hour later out she comes wanting payment and having a Q plate for me

she offered me Free tax because I had no CO reading whatsoever on my Emissions test

but I would need a letter from MK proving this happens regularly or something wasnt really bothered as the race exhaust is on now anyway

one happy lottery winner it feels like

She got the payments bit wrong! You should be paying according to the engine size.

That would have been a nice cock-up on the tax. She must have seen the 0% CO reading and assumed that meant 0 g/km CO2 - I'd love to see a conventional engined car that could do that
