Moved house

Hi guys,

been offline for while as I've been moving house. My part built Indy has been packed up for about 4 months due to house move chains falling through etc but i'm looking to get started again soon. I've moved to a village about 4 miles North of Basingstoke and would appreciate any advice anyone nearby/in the Reading area can give me on motor factors, scrapyards, metal suppliers, welding suppliers, bespoke exhaust manufacuters etc etc. any help advice gladly received.

regards

Pete

where are you? Tadley?

Anyway places of interest for you...

Alton Tool & Bolt - Grafton Way, Basingstoke (nuts, bolts & tools - ask for Reg)

Basingstoke Autoparts - Grafton Way, Basingstoke (car parts and garage consumables - ask for Andy)

EAS (Camberly Auto Factors) - next to Morrisons, Basingstoke (car parts and garage consumables)

Can't remember the name, but next door to ATS on the Moniton Trading estate there's a car tuning/styling place witha guy who does custom stainless exhaust systems

Can't remember the name, there's a scrap yard in Old Basing, a bit pikey, but they do let you roam around and look for what you want rather than having to know the exact make/model/year of car you want a part from.

If you check the Club section of the forum, there's a New Forest meet on Tueday evening next week - bit of a trek maybe.

There's also regular meets at Newlands Corner (Guildford) as well.

Good luck!

Nick,

thanks for the advice, much appreciated. No, I'm not in Tadley but not far away, in Sherfield on loddon actually, about 4 miles North of Basingstoke on the A33. I'll check out all the places you mentioned, particularly the exhaust guy; I was thinking i was going to have to trail the car up to Martin Keenan's to get a proper exhaust made up but perhaps this guy will be able to do it.

Thanks again,

Pete
