WHAT DIF SHOULD I USE

hello to every one
well iv just orderd my mk indy car and am now doing abit of shopping around but would like a bit of info as what dif i should be useing,i would like a limited slip dif and have found one off a xr4i ,will this be any good . im sure this isnt the only question i will be asking as this is my first project but i will try to find most of the answers on the forum to save wasting anybodies time

the xr4x4 dif is the one to go for, if you want/need an LSD, otherwise a standard sierra dif will do (there are various ratios, a post under running gear today i think should explain.

otherwise search the forum, there are lots of informative old posts/threads out there.

Bear in mind that the diffs vary in size (width), so you will have to make sure you get a diff that is correct for the chassis you ordered. I think the majority of diffs are 7" fitment, and unless you stated you were using a particular difff (eg Cosworth) then you should be.

ok the bloke who im buying the lsd off wants to sell me the whole rear end from wheel to wheel for £150 is this a good price,it seems ok to me, every thing seems cheap compared to motor bike bits woohoo,engine's gonna be the most expensive part after the chassis but there you go again a damn motor bike bit

Is the LSD rearr diff the same size as the standard sierra one?

Im just thinking if it will fit straight into the indy.
